What I was up to

As a graduation “requirement” for my major, I spent the spring of my junior year of university on a marine biology quarter in Mo’orea, French Polynesia. This program was a hands-on research experience run by the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department at UCLA, through which we (my fellow EEB Bruins and I) designed and carried out several research projects on the tropical marine system of the island.

Before I left, several of my friends and family instructed me to keep them updated with stories and pictures of the projects I was doing and adventures that I was having Mo’orea, so this is where I posted updates about my work and discoveries on the island.
